The Arts and Education Council is a unique entity in St. Louis. We are able to raise funds for a wide variety of art programming. We have the opportunity to promote the arts and build arts audiences. We have the ability to transform lives by providing crucial funds to 80 non-profit arts organizations.
The arts speak a universal language. Whether it’s a song that triggers a memory or a film that forces us to see things from a different perspective, we are all inspired by the arts. They teach us, make us think and make us happy. And, of course, the arts uplift and unite as they entertain.
In addition, the arts are attended by over 12 million people each year and have an economic impact of $714 million annually in our region.
