Arts and Education Council Announces New Marketing and Events Coordinator

The Arts and Education Council is pleased to announce that Christine Blonn has joined the Council as its new Marketing and Events Coordinator. At the Council, Blonn will coordinate the development and implementation of the Council’s annual workplace giving marketing campaign, coordinate e-based and social marketing initiatives, and manage the website. She began her duties on November 4.
Blonn comes to the Council from Chicago’s primary Public Broadcasting Station, WTTW, where she was a marketing project manager. During her time at WTTW, she successfully managed the development, production, and analysis of direct marketing campaigns. Blonn has also held marketing positions at the Field Trip Factory and Aspen Marketing Services where she managed multiple marketing communication channels including direct mail, email, and sweepstakes promotions.

Blonn holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in english and history and a Master’s degree in communications from Marquette University.
Arts and Education Council – Since 1963, the Arts and Education Council has raised nearly $100 million in private funding for the arts – an important task that directly affects the quality of life of our region. With those funds, the Council annually assists approximately 70 non-profit arts and arts education organizations.
