What We Do
Fundraise in the Community
Workplace Giving Campaigns are the foundation of the fundraising efforts of the Arts and Education Council. These extraordinary campaigns enable employees in the greater St. Louis area to touch nearly 70 local nonprofit arts and arts education organizations across the bi-state region.
Facilitate Granting Opportunities
The Arts and Education Council provides funding for the arts and arts education programs in the 16-county bi-state region. Funding is provided through grants both directly through the Arts and Education Council and through collaborative partnerships.
Honor the Artistic Legacy in St. Louis
Presented since 1992, the St. Louis Arts Awards is the preeminent award ceremony honoring individuals who achieve a legacy of artistic excellence, and organizations and businesses that enrich St. Louis’ arts and cultural community.
Maintain an Online Discount Calendar
Members of the Arts and Education Council receive an ARTS Card which offers specials like 2-for-1 admission. Create an itinerary of events and go enjoy the arts!
Provide Professional Development
The focus of the Arts Leadership and Management Academy is on providing training and support for arts and cultural organizations through a series of affordable management workshops that increase skill level and effectiveness. The Arts Marketers meets to discuss current marketing topics in a collaborative environment.
