The Criteria of Leadership

Arts Leadership represents key variances to nonprofit management and leadership development, therefore requiring a blend of both nonprofit and for-profit proficiencies to become and/or remain a viable organization.The “Criteria of Leadership” workshop distills leadership into tasks and skills necessary to open the “learning door” of management and organizational control. An emphasis is place on key elements to create an ease of access in understanding the criteria that defines a leader and the tools that lead to success. The focus of the three hour workshop is to provide a syllabus of critical skills to be acquired or honed with greater balance and new perspectives.
About the Instructor
Theresa Mayberry, Ph.D. is currently the Sr. Vice President, National Partnerships and Strategy for the Wyman Center, a position designed specifically for her. Dr. Mayberry is the President of an organizational and executive development consulting practice.She has extensive executive leadership and consulting expertise in the nonprofit, private, charitable and government sectors. Nationally, more than 450 organizations have benefited from her assistance and leadership.She has more than 37 years of experience in leading successful programs, transforming organizations and policy development concentrating on improved service delivery systems for children, families, and communities.
