The Arts and Education Council hosted the 2012 St. Louis Arts Awards on January 23, 2012 at the Chase Park Plaza. The 2012 St. Louis Arts Awards, presented by Emerson and chaired by Tom Voss, chairman of the board, president and CEO of Ameren Corporation, and his wife, Carol, honored individuals who achieve a legacy of artistic excellence, and organizations and businesses that enrich St. Louis’ arts and cultural community.

“We are very pleased with the overwhelmingly positive response to the 2012 St. Louis Arts Awards – both to the much deserving honorees and the performances. Thanks to our sponsors and, of course, the honorees – it was truly a night to remember,” commented Cynthia A. Prost, president of the Arts and Education Council.
